Dry Lining

Dry lining

Is the term used for applying plasterboards to your walls with the use of adhesive normally DryWall compound.

Sometimes referred to as dotting and dabbing.

This is the perfect way to level up an uneven wall or quickly plasterboard a room in an extension or new build house, offering the advantage of a quick drying time in comparison to traditional plastering methods such as browning.

Thermal plasterboards

With heating costs rising some what yearly cold exterior walls with no cavity can suck a lot of heat out of a house and create cold spots in your rooms. We can dry line your exterior walls using thermal boards from 27mm up to 100mm thick. These boards massively help a room retain its heat.

They are dot and dabbed onto the wall, leveled up and then have metal fixings screwed into them called anchor bolts (these are for fire regulations).

We can take off and replace any skirting board or window boards that are on the walls that require the thermal boards.

You can feel the difference in warmth the very next day - all our customers have commented on how warm a room feels.

We have samples of the plasterboards in the van and can supply technical data sheets via email on request.
